BIKES: I’ve been riding a Bofeili Mk1 ebike for 5 years. It was a pretty good deal, the last demo model from a dealer that I don’t believe imports them anymore. I was lucky enough to have improved peripherals added by Gloworm Bikes in Marrickville, lucky because they don’t offer that service anymore for bikes they don’t sell themselves. That’s unfortunate as this bike plus the upgraded peripherals set me back less than $2k, which for an ebike lasting 5+ years is pretty good.
As you can see this bike is getting dirty and worn down, the battery is a shadow of what it once was. Perhaps my sharing photos of my bike will shame me into cleaning up my act, a new battery would be prudent if I can find it. For now I am content to roll it into the light of golden hour and show off the grime.
